Kitchen Assistant / Food Preparer (Clean, Dried, Salad-based) - Retirees, Home-makers and Students Welcomed - Location: Bedok / Simei / Tampines - Full / Part-time Available

About The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper / Food Preparer to support daily food preparation, packing, cleaning, and general kitchen operations in a gentle-paced food establishment. The ideal candidate should be organised, hygiene-conscious, and able to work efficiently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, portioning, assembly, and packing according to company SOPs
• Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients as directed
• Support labelling, packing, and order fulfilment activities
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen workstations, equipment, utensils, and storage areas
• Ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients in accordance with food safety standards
• Assist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries / stock
• Dispose of waste and maintain overall kitchen cleanliness
• Support stock rotation (FIFO) and inventory housekeeping
• Follow all food hygiene, workplace safety, and operational procedures

Requirements

• Food Safety Course Level 1 certification (compulsory). If you are found suitable for the role, the Company shall sponsor you for the course before commencement of work.
• Reasonably fit physically
• Able to lift and move stock / supplies when required
• Good personal hygiene and attention to cleanliness
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn
• Comfortable working in a chilled / food handling environment where applicable
