Care Support Associate

Responsibilities
Assist Registered Nurses (RNs) and Enrolled Nurses (ENs) in delivering safe and quality patient care within inpatient wards.
Provide direct patient care, including support with personal hygiene, mobility, feeding, and elimination needs.
Accurately document patients’ vital signs and perform basic clinical observations.
Facilitate patient admissions, examinations, transfers, and discharges.
Support nursing and clinical procedures, including assisting with wound care, IV-related tasks, bladder scans, and emergency responses.
Coordinate ward activities such as bed management and visitor management.
Deliver basic education to patients and families regarding ward orientation and infection control practices.
Manage clerical tasks and documentation, including handling medical records and discharge-related duties.
Requirements
Minimum qualification: NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to read, write, and converse in simple English.
Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule, inclusive of weekends and public holidays:
Morning Shift: Starts at 8.00am, ending between 4.00pm to 6.00pm.
Afternoon Shift: Starts between 11.00am to 1.00pm, ending between 7.00pm to 9.00pm.
Night Shift: 8.00pm to 8.00am.
