Public Speaking Trainer for Preschool

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Preschool Enrichment Trainer to join our team, a communication skills and public speaking enrichment centre for children aged 3 to 6.

If you love working with young children, have a flair for storytelling or drama, and believe in building confidence from a young age—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct interactive enrichment classes for preschoolers aged 3 to 6, focusing on speech, drama, and communication.
• Deliver our proprietary public speaking curriculum using stories, role-play, and games.
• Create a fun, nurturing and positive classroom environment where children feel confident to speak up.
• Manage class behavior and encourage participation through positive reinforcement.
• Track student development and prepare progress updates or simple reports.
• Collaborate with other trainers and centre managers on curriculum delivery and parent engagement.
• Support weekend classes and occasional events or performances.

Skills and Experience Required

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• L2 Early Childhood Certification (for candidates in Singapore).

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience with children aged 3 to 6.
• Background in drama, theatre, speech & drama, or public speaking is a bonus.

Other Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Warm, expressive, and engaging personality.
• Classroom management skills suited to preschool-age learners.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about developing children’s confidence.
• Must be able to work on weekends (when most classes are conducted) and some weekdays
• Willingness to undergo training for curriculum delivery.
• Commitment of at least 6 months
