Heavy Equipment Mechanic

- Perform vechile maintenance and repair works
- Repair and adjust four-wheel alignment and car undercarriage/legs
- Install vehicle parts and accessories
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Lead and supervise workshop repair activities
- Inspection,troubleshooting and testing for heavy vehicles - lorries, trucks, tankers
- Conduct regular maintenance of vehicles
- Ensure repair works carried out comply with regulatory codes, specifications and company guidelines
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and safety at the workplace
- Any other duties assigned
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks to move containers within the yard
- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues and report major faults
- Liaise with colleagues to coordinate container movement and placement
- Perform safety checks before operating reach stackers and other machinery
- Follow all workplace safety guidelines and operational procedures
- Ensure containers are positioned safely and at designated locations
- Support depot operations by shifting containers when required
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor
