About the Role

TechAalto is supporting a leading EAM in expanding its advisory team. We are looking for a highly skilled Investment Counsellor to provide high-value investment advice to High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High Net Worth(UHNW) clients. This role requires deep market insight, strong portfolio advisory experience, and the ability to partner closely with Relationship Managers to deliver tailored, multi-asset investment solutions.

You will act as the subject-matter expert for investment strategy, product suitability, and portfolio optimisation, ensuring clients receive world-class advisory support.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Relationship Managers to deliver bespoke investment solutions to HNW/UHNW clients.
• Strengthen client relationships and drive portfolio growth, engagement, and profitability.
• Assess client goals, risk appetite, and financial needs to develop comprehensive investment strategies.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews, suitability assessments, and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Articulate market views and investment themes in a clear and client-appropriate manner.
• Collaborate with internal functions including Investments, Research, Risk, Compliance, and Wealth Planning to ensure recommended solutions are robust and compliant.
• Support enhancements to advisory processes, tools, and future service offerings by capturing business and client requirements.

Requirements

• Prior experience in Investment Advisory / Investment Counselling within Private Banking or Wealth Management.
• Strong understanding of global financial markets, multi-asset products, investment strategies, and portfolio construction.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong client-facing capability.
• Strong risk awareness, especially around trading, suitability, and regulated advisory standards.
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, organised, and capable of handling multiple client portfolios.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial analysis tools.
• Team-oriented,quick learner, high level of integrity, and a positive, client-focused attitude.
