Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Lorry Driver to manage our goods transportation. In this role, you will map out efficient routes, handle vehicle upkeep, and ensure cargo safety. A strong commitment to road safety regulations and customer service is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport cargo safely: Drive large goods vehicles over short or long distances.
• Secure heavy loads: Ensure goods are stowed, tied down, and covered securely.
• Manage delivery documentation: Collect signed delivery orders (DO) and transport logs.
• Plan efficient routes: Use maps and GPS to bypass traffic delays.
• Inspect the vehicle: Complete pre-trip and post-trip maintenance checklists.
• Load and unload: Assist with or oversee manual or mechanical cargo handling.
• Follow road laws: Strictly obey speed limits and company safety protocols.
• Handle minor repairs: Address simple roadside issues like changing engine oil or tires.
• Communicate route updates: Report delays, accidents, or mechanical errors immediately. [
