CREATIVE TECH PROJECT MANAGER

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager / Producer who bridges the gap between commercial interior renovation and interactive technology. This is a site-and-project management role for someone who understands commercial build environments (fit-outs, carpentry, spatial fabrication) but also possesses a deep, hands-on understanding of electronics, microcontrollers, and hardware integration.

You won’t just be managing a timeline; you will be the critical link ensuring that interactive tech elements (sensors, LEDs, AV systems) are seamlessly integrated into our commercial and spatial builds. You will oversee projects from initial tech prototyping through vendor management, on-site installation, and final commissioning.

What You’ll Do

• Project & Site Management: Lead commercial renovation and spatial integration projects from concept to handover, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

• Tech-to-Spatial Integration: Oversee the successful integration of electronic systems, sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi) into physical architectural elements and custom carpentry.

• Vendor & Fabricator Coordination: Source, brief, and manage specialized vendors, hardware fabricators, electricians, and programmers. Speak their language to ensure technical specifications are executed flawlessly.

• Technical Oversight: Evaluate prototype viability, troubleshoot complex technical challenges on-site, and ensure deployment readiness (stability, safety, and durability) within commercial spaces.

• On-Site Commissioning: Manage on-site setup, coordinate with main contractors/sub-contractors, and lead the final testing and commissioning of interactive spaces.

• Client & Stakeholder Management: Translate complex technical/fabrication limitations into clear, actionable updates for clients, design teams, and project stakeholders.

What You Bring

• Proven Experience: 3+ years of project management or producing experience in commercial renovation, retail fit-outs, exhibition design, or experiential marketing builds.

• The "Creative Tech" Core: A strong baseline understanding of electronics, circuits, wiring, and microcontrollers (Arduino / Raspberry Pi). You must be able to audit a wiring diagram or troubleshoot an integration issue on-site.

• Site Savvy: Solid understanding of standard renovation processes, carpentry construction, spatial materials, and on-site safety/compliance realities in Singapore.

• Problem-Solving Mindset: Exceptional troubleshooting skills—especially when hardware, software, and physical structures clash on-site.

• Communication & Leadership: Strong command of vendor management and the ability to command respect on a messy construction site while collaborating smoothly with creative designers.
