Accounts Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions to ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Prepare monthly vessel disbursement accounts for submission to overseas principals and customers to secure reimbursements
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify and validate financial records
  • Prepare and submit GST returns to comply with regulatory tax requirements
  • Maintain organized documentation and filing systems to support audit readiness and enable efficient information retrieval
  • Utilize MS Office and ABSS Accounting Software to accurately record financial transactions and data
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal English to facilitate effective coordination
  • Work independently while demonstrating a positive, friendly, and responsible attitude

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
