Accounts Assistant

Responsibilities
- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions to ensure timely and accurate payments
- Prepare monthly vessel disbursement accounts for submission to overseas principals and customers to secure reimbursements
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify and validate financial records
- Prepare and submit GST returns to comply with regulatory tax requirements
- Maintain organized documentation and filing systems to support audit readiness and enable efficient information retrieval
- Utilize MS Office and ABSS Accounting Software to accurately record financial transactions and data
- Communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal English to facilitate effective coordination
- Work independently while demonstrating a positive, friendly, and responsible attitude
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
