Job Summary

We are a well-established medium-sized law firm seeking a motivated paralegal to provide legal and administrative support for a partner, ensuring efficient case management and smooth office operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage file opening, filing, maintenance, and closing to ensure accurate and organized legal records
  • Prepare legal documents, perform e-lodgement and e-stamping, and handle procedural tasks to support case management
  • Coordinate and organize meetings, document dispatch and delivery to facilitate effective workflow
  • Prepare bills accurately to support financial processes
  • Manage the partner’s schedule and calendar, including entering time sheets to optimize the management of time costs
  • Perform general administrative duties as required to maintain smooth office operations
  • Communicate clearly in written and spoken English to support legal documentation and correspondence
  • Utilize MS Office applications proficiently to create, edit, and manage documents and schedules
  • Apply excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma in legal studies or equivalent experience in civil and commercial litigation and/or family law within a law firm environment
