Job Summary

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will drive accurate cost estimation, budget preparation, and tender submission processes to support project success. You will lead subcontractor quotation evaluation, procurement coordination, and cost control to optimize project expenditures and ensure financial accuracy. Collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to manage material selection and contract administration, while conducting precise site measurements and maintaining comprehensive contract documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions to support competitive and accurate project proposals
  • Evaluate subcontractor quotations and manage procurement processes to ensure cost-effective sourcing and compliance with project requirements
  • Monitor project expenditures by tracking variations and implementing cost control measures to maintain budget adherence
  • Prepare progress claims, payment certifications, and final accounts to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate procurement and material selection aligned with project specifications
  • Conduct site measurements and valuations to provide accurate data for contract administration and project progress tracking
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all contract-related matters to support transparency and audit readiness
  • Assist the Contracts Manager in all related contract and project management activities to ensure seamless project execution

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Internship experience in Addition & Alteration (A&A) and landed house projects is advantageous
  • Familiarity with contract administration standards such as SIA and PSSCOC, and cost management principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to support documentation and reporting tasks
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and cost control skills demonstrated through effective project cost management
  • Detail-oriented and proactive approach to managing tasks in a fast-paced project environment
