Restaurant Manager

NORTHEAST GOURMET PTE. LTD.

Main Responsibilities Must have work experience in traditional Chinese restaurants, with expertise in Northeastern cuisine and Sichuan cuisine.

  • Must be able to work night shifts and be available on public holidays.

  1. Operations Management

    • Oversee daily restaurant operations.

    • Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly work plans and ensure effective execution.

  2. Staff Management

    • Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate employees.

    • Improve team efficiency and service quality through performance management.

  3. Financial and Cost Control

    • Approve financial reports and monitor budgets.

    • Control costs and staffing allocations to ensure profitability.

  4. Customer Service & Complaint Handling

    • Supervise service quality and personally engage in customer service.

    • Handle complaints and unexpected incidents promptly and effectively.

  5. Marketing & Brand Development

    • Develop and implement marketing strategies.

    • Organize community events and strengthen the restaurant’s brand image.

  6. Equipment & Safety Management

    • Inspect equipment usage and maintenance.

    • Enforce food safety, fire prevention, and theft-prevention measures.

  7. Cross-Department Coordination

    • Maintain effective communication with kitchen, finance, and logistics teams.

    • Ensure smooth collaboration across all departments.

  8. Environment & Hygiene Supervision

    • Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards.

    • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming dining environment.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in the F&B industry.

  • Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine and restaurant operations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure with flexibility and adaptability.

  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Chinese) preferred.

Reporting Line

  • Reports directly to the Company Director or General Manager.
