Work you’ll do

Deloitte’s Treasury Advisory team partners with CFOs, Treasurers, CIOs and transformation leaders to solve complex challenges across liquidity, risk, technology, operating models and governance. We combine deep treasury expertise with market‑leading technology and transformation capabilities to deliver impactful change for global organizations.

As a Director in our Technology & Transformation practice, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping client agendas, driving technology‑enabled treasury transformations, and developing a high‑performing team across Southeast Asia. You will leverage your strong treasury systems experience, problem‑solving skills, and advisory mindset to deliver measurable outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities Includes

• Lead the development of differentiated points‑of‑view across Treasury Technology &Transformation topics (TMS, treasury digitization, analytics, risk).
• Shape and convert opportunities by structuring compelling proposals, solution approaches, and value cases.
• Partner with Partners/Directors to drive pipeline growth and expand Deloitte’s Treasury presence in the region.
• Run client workshops, demonstrations and strategic conversations with senior stakeholders (Treasurers, CFOs, CTOs, CROs).
• Represent Deloitte in industry forums, thought leadership initiatives, and treasury technology communities.
• Serve as a subject‑matter lead for Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Kyriba, FIS – [Quantum / Integrity], ION Treasury [Reval, IT2, Wall Street Systems], GTreasury) and related digital platforms.
• Rapidly learn and assess new treasury technologies, architecture designs, and emerging digital solutions (e.g., automation, APIs, AI‑enabled risk tools, analytics).
• Oversee end‑to‑end treasury transformation programs.
• Advise clients on risk management, derivative valuations, hedge accounting, cash & liquidity, FX & IRR, and treasury controls.
• Apply advanced problem‑solving and structured thinking to resolve complex treasury technology challenges.
• Mentor and grow the teams across Singapore and the South Asia practice.
• Oversee delivery quality, profitability, timelines and client satisfaction across multiple engagements.
• Support the development of junior staffand offshore teams through training, knowledge sharing and project leadership.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience in treasury consulting, treasury systems, financial risk, or transformation advisory.
• Strong experience with Treasury Management Systems or treasury risk platforms; prior roles with vendors (e.g., ION, FIS,Kyriba) and pre-sales exposures.
• Proven track record in leading complex treasury technology implementations or risk management projects.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business development, shape client opportunities, and engage senior leadership.
• Strong analytical capabilities with exposure to derivative valuations, hedge accounting, risk analytics, or IFRS compliance (advantage).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior executives.
• Experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams and scaling teams in a fast‑growing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced qualifications such as CTP, ACT, CFA, FRM or MBA preferred.
