Social Media Executive

The Social Media Executive supports the day-to-day execution, coordination, and delivery of social media work across client accounts. This role focuses on ensuring timelines, processes, and content execution are carried out effectively, while building a foundational understanding of strategy, business, and creative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative / Operational
- Drive and review plans to ensure work is delivered on time and according to standards
- Plan, coordinate and publish social media content at speed, including resourcing with PMs
- Ensure all content has appropriate clearances and rights for brand usage
- Sourcing of information for project requirements, management of asset delivery
Business
- Understand the basics of scoping of work, mapping of resource requirements and budgets
- Implement work processes to ensure smooth executions and delivery of costed scope of work
Strategy
- Possess general strategic understanding of social campaign and content planning
- Conceptualise strategic content angles for digital/social
- Produce reports that show measurable results with good understanding of campaign goals
- Be informed of what’s happening in the client’s industry/business
Creative
- Understand client and creative needs
- Manage content creation in all aspects, providing feedback on copywriting, guidance on creative assets, and recommendations on cadence
- Review basic creative work against client asks to determine if brief has been met
- Be aware of and appreciate effective and bold creative work
- Able to partner with creatives for ideation
Client Management
- Day-to-day client management, maintaining regular contact with clients to ensure communication flows effectively
- Manage general internal and external communication amongst working team and clients
- Clear understanding and decoding of client feedback and responses required
Digital
- Good understanding of platforms — latest digital and social platforms, channels and formats
- Knowledgeable around high-level social and digital trends
- Basic understanding of structuring social projects and teams
People Management
- Manage relations with influencers or key opinion leaders on social media
- Clear on professional code of conduct within the Agency regulations, policy and culture
Job Specifications
Knowledge and Experience
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in social media / digital / content
- Basic understanding of social platforms, content workflows, and campaign execution
