Director Sales – HVDC & FACTS, ASEAN

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead regional sales and business development activities for HVDC and FACTS solutions across ASEAN
  • build and manage a regional pipeline of strategic opportunities with utilities, transmission system operators, government entities, developers, EPC contractors and industrial customers
  • represent GT SO TSA in high level customer meetings, industry forums, government discussions and regional energy transition initiatives.
  • Provide regional market intelligence, sales forecasts, opportunity reviews and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Support partnership strategies with local EPCs, developers, consultants and technology partners.
  • Mentor and guide regional sales and business development in the region
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer on HVDC and FACTS

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record in developing and winning large scale infrastructure or utility projects.
  • Proven experience with HVDC, FACTS, grid systems, power electronics, renewable integration or transmission infrastructure.
  • Ability to engage with C-level executives, government stakeholders, utility leadership and strategic partners.
  • Proven ability to develop sales strategy, pipeline governance, forecast and order intake plans.

Knowledge Required

  • HVDC Offshore/Onshore experience
  • FACTS such as STATCOM, SVC, series compensation and synchronous condenser applications.
  • Grid stability, reactive power compensation, voltage control and power flow management.
  • Renewable energy integration, offshore wind connection and large-scale grid onshore projects.
  • Executive-level strategic selling for high-value infrastructure projects.
