Interior Design Draughtsman

- Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans for interior design projects
- Convert designers' concepts and sketches into accurate construction drawings
- Produce floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed joinery drawings
- Use CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other drafting tools
- Ensure drawings comply with building codes, regulations, and project requirements
- Coordinate with interior designers, architects, engineers, and contractors
- Revise drawings based on design changes, client feedback, and site conditions
- Prepare furniture layouts, ceiling plans, lighting plans, and material specifications
- Assist in project documentation, submissions, and approvals
- Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions before drafting
- Maintain organized drawing records and project documentation
- Support project teams throughout the design and construction process
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other design software
- Strong technical drawing and drafting skills
- Good understanding of interior construction methods and materials
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Time management and ability to meet project deadlines
- Problem-solving and spatial visualization skills
