Assistant Finance Manager, FP&A

Responsibilities

  • Prepare forecasts, annual budget reports, and Capex reports covering all Capex-related matters to support financial planning
  • Analyze reporting data and maintain schedules for budgeting and forecasting to assist management decision-making
  • Oversee Sales Cube reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness of sales data for reliable business insights
  • Execute ad-hoc reporting assignments and respond promptly to management requests to support operational needs
  • Review quarterly GST returns and related schedules to ensure compliance with tax regulations and avoid penalties
  • Liaise with tax agents to provide accurate information for statutory tax filings and maintain regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate with external finance teams to compile monthly and annual financial reports ensuring consistency and accuracy
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy in all reporting to support trustworthy financial analysis and insights
  • Perform additional assignments as directed by the Direct Manager to meet evolving business requirements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience demonstrating strong financial management capabilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field providing foundational knowledge for financial tasks
  • Professional accounting qualification such as CA or ACCA is a plus, enhancing technical expertise
  • Experience working with any accounting system to efficiently manage financial data and processes
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to create and present financial reports effectively
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights to inform business strategy and decisions
  • Effective communication skills to engage and collaborate with senior business partners clearly and persuasively
  • Excellent business judgment, analytical skills, and organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities accurately
  • Strong coordination skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness in financial reporting
