Firing Point Safety Officer (1 Year Contract, Opportunity to Renew / Convert)

Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure all weapon safety drills for assigned firers are executed in accordance with established procedures
- Comply with range conduct procedures and Range Standing Orders
- Comply with all security procedures
- Ensure all ranges are conducted in accordance with established procedures, including:
- Conducting break‑arm checks upon arrival of firer
- Assisting firers with in‑processing
- Assisting the Chief Safety Officer in the conduct of Just‑in‑Time (JIT) briefings
- Performing Detailing In‑Charge (IC) duties
- Performing After Action Review (AAR) In‑Charge (IC) duties
- Ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the range
- Ensure firers complete the soldier satisfaction survey
- Adopt and practice a strong safety culture at MMRC
- Undertake other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor
Skills & Experience
- Military personnel (active or retired) are welcome to apply
- Proven experience in military weapons technical handling, Authorized Operating Materials (AOM), and military safety management is required
- Possess effective communication skills
- Candidates may be considered for conversion to a permanent role or contract renewal, subject to individual performance and overall company performance
- Work location: Multi Mission Range Complex (MMRC)
