Senior / Laundry Operator

Job Responsibilities

1. Inspect guest and colleague garments for any defects or damage and notify the supervisor before cleaning, when necessary.
2. Separate and sort soiled garments by colour and fabric type.
3. Apply appropriate spotting chemicals to garments correctly for stain treatment.
4. Ensure high-quality pressing of garments, ensuring proper alignment of linings and avoiding overlaps in shirts and pants.
5. Report to the Laundry Manager on any garment damaged due to washing, pressing or any other laundry process and stained garment.
6. Check on the garments that are to be sent back to each guest so as to ensure that the type and number of garments returned are accurate.
7. Co-ordinate the guest laundry flow, from the collection of guest laundry to the delivery of laundry to the respective guest (Valet).
8. Perform any work as and when assigned by the Management.

Education & Work Experience

1. Primary school education
2. Able to speak and understand basic English
