Haulier Operation Assistant

1. Job scheduling & coordination
Arrange truck trips for container pick-up and delivery
Coordinate with drivers, customers, and port terminals (e.g., PSA in Singapore)
Assign jobs to drivers based on availability and priority
2. Documentation handling
Prepare delivery orders (DO), job orders, and transport documents
Submit and track container release/return documents
Ensure paperwork matches shipment details
3. Container / trip tracking
Monitor container movements (in/out of port, depot, customer site)
Update internal system on job status (picked up, delivered, delayed, etc.)
4. Communication
Liaise with drivers on route instructions and timing
Communicate with shipping agents, freight forwarders, and customers on delays or changes
5. Basic problem-solving
Handle issues like delays at port, missing containers, breakdowns, or schedule changes
Re-arrange transport plans when needed
6. Administrative support
Data entry into transport management systems
Filing and reporting of daily operations
Job Requirements
Prior logistics service experience is an advantage
Minimum O-Level qualification or equivalent, with adequate written English skills
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Able to work independently and handle issues related to delivery delays and customer complaints
Must be oriented, proactive, and a strong team player willing to take initiative and responsibility
