Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HROperations Manager to oversee workforce operations within our courier andlogistics business. This role is responsible for managing operational manpower,rider and driver welfare, KPI monitoring, payroll coordination, overtimemanagement, incentive allocation, performance tracking, and operational riskmanagement.

The ideal candidate must be capable of leading a team,handling fast-paced operational challenges, and working closely with bothOperations and HR departments to ensure workforce efficiency, compliance, andemployee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manpower Planning & Workforce Management

  • Manage daily operational manpower requirements for riders, drivers, dispatch teams, and supporting operational staff.
  • Ensure sufficient staffing levels to meet operational demands and delivery targets.
  • Coordinate shift scheduling, attendance monitoring, and manpower deployment.
  • Handle workforce planning during peak seasons, urgent operational surges, and manpower shortages.
  • Work closely with Operations Managers to optimize productivity and reduce manpower gaps.

2. Rider & Driver Welfare Management

  • Monitor and improve welfare programs for riders and drivers.
  • Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters professionally.
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and positive working environment.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities, welfare initiatives, and retention programs.
  • Promote compliance with workplace safety and operational policies.

3. KPI Monitoring & Performance Tracking

  • Develop and monitor operational KPIs for riders, drivers, and operational teams.
  • Track productivity, attendance, delivery performance, punctuality, and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for management review.
  • Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective action plans.
  • Support implementation of performance improvement initiatives.

4. Incentive & Overtime Management

  • Manage rider and driver incentive structures based on company policies and performance metrics.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and allocation of incentives, allowances.
  • Review and approve overtime claims in accordance with operational needs and labor regulations.
  • Monitor overtime utilization and recommend cost-control measures.
  • Coordinate with payroll and finance departments for timely processing.

5. Payroll Coordination

  • Ensure accurate payroll data submission, including attendance, incentives, deductions, claims, and overtime.
  • Verify payroll records and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
  • Support payroll audits and compliance checks.

6. Risk Management & Compliance

  • Identify operational HR risks and implement preventive measures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and operational SOPs.
  • Investigate operational incidents, misconduct, and workplace disputes when required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
  • Support health, safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

7. Team Leadership & Reporting

  • Lead and supervise HR operations staff and coordinators.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to team members.
  • Prepare operational HR reports, manpower analysis, and performance summaries for senior management.
  • Act as the key liaison between Operations and HR departments.
  • Report directly to the HR Department on workforce performance and operational matters.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HR operations, logistics, courier, or transportation industry.
  • Experience managing large operational workforces, including riders and drivers, is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Knowledge of payroll processes, labour laws, and workforce compliance.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, HR systems, and operational reporting tools.
