Senior Project Manager (HVAC / Marine & Offshore)

• Position: Project Manager (HVAC / Marine & Offshore)
• Location: Pasir Panjang - walking distance from Pasir Panjang MRT
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 6.00pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $13,000 (commensurate with experience) + Bonus
• Duration : Permanent
• Industry: Marine & Offshore / HVAC Engineering

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a portfolio of HVAC projects, ensuring delivery within schedule, budget, quality, and contractual requirements.
• Manage, mentor, and support Project Managers, providing guidance on technical, operational, and contractual matters.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, shipyards, suppliers, and key stakeholders, acting as the senior escalation point when required.
• Oversee project financial performance including budgeting, cost control, forecasting, cash flow, variations, claims, and contract negotiations.
• Support critical project phases such as installation, commissioning, sea trials, and final handover to ensure successful execution.
• Directly manage selected key projects from engineering and procurement through installation, commissioning, and completion.
• Drive procurement and supplier strategies, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, and performance management.
• Coordinate closely with engineering teams to ensure technical deliverables meet project requirements and timelines.
• Monitor project risks, KPIs, and overall portfolio performance while implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Thermal, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in HVAC project management, including leading project teams and managing complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, project delivery, budgeting, contract management, claims, and risk management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Marine & Offshore, Semiconductor, Cleanroom, Industrial Process HVAC, Datacenter, or other critical environment projects will be an advantage.
• Candidates from Semiconductor or Industrial sectors should have experience with complex HVAC systems, EPC/turnkey projects, and commissioning activities.
• Training will be provided for candidates transitioning into the Marine & Offshore industry.
