Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Engineer to support Azure cloud infrastructure operations, automation initiatives, platform reliability, and production support activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in Microsoft Azure environments, infrastructure management, cloud operations, and enterprise support processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and support Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and platform services.
- Provide operational support and administration for Azure-based environments to ensure system reliability, performance, and availability.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, and services using enterprise monitoring and alerting tools.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, alerts, and service requests within established service levels.
- Manage and support Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Backup, Monitoring, and Logging solutions.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar automation tools.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Perform system maintenance, patch management, and upgrades for Windows and Linux servers.
- Conduct routine operational activities such as system health checks, backup verification, performance monitoring, and configuration reviews.
- Participate in change, release, and maintenance activities in accordance with established operational procedures.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Support security, compliance, audit, and vulnerability remediation activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to ensure stable and secure cloud operations.
- Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, information Technologly or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure, system administration, or IT operations.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts, networking, security, and infrastructure best practices.
- Experience administering Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD practices.
- Working knowledge of container technologies such as Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, and Helm.
- Experience with system monitoring, logging, backup, and alert management tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure or other cloud-related certifications.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale or highly available production environments.
- Exposure to cloud migration, modernization, or digital transformation projects.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
