Ensure compliance with Singapore’s Food Act and Regulations by providing technical guidance on legal requirements and company Food Safety Management System (FSMS).

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and proactively implement necessary changes to policies and procedures.

Participate in the review process of annual improvement HSE year plan and roadmap and implement food safety strategy aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.

Conduct thorough risk assessments of food safety practices, processes, and products to identify potential hazards aligned with HACCP requirements.

Provide mobilization support, technical support and advice on certifications and compliance.

Ensure that food safety standards are maintained and stay abreast of emerging food safety trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform food safety audits and inspections as per audit plan and KPI ensuring adequacy, effectiveness and compliance across all sites including the preparation and submission of reports.

Coordinate and facilitate external food safety audits and inspections, Halal inspection, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Address findings and recommendations from audits, implementing corrective actions and process improvements as needed.

Follow up with supplier and Supply Management team regarding any deviation from product quality in the raw materials; conduct supplier audits in collaboration with Country HSE and Supply Management teams when necessary.

Participate in New Suppliers Audit in terms of standard hygiene practices and food safety on regular basis, with Supply Management team.

Where appointed, be responsible for MUIS Halal certification for relevant sites. Duties include application submission, validation of products, creation of Halal Management System for each site and liaise with MUIS officers/Management.

To report and record all Food Safety complaints in internal reporting system and generate monthly reports

Ensure all reported food safety related incidents are fully investigated and corrective actions completed.

Arrange food sample analysis with qualified laboratory

Conduct/prepare content for trainings as per Legal requirements and/or the Framework training needs analysis.

Set up educational programs and campaigns to promote a culture of hygiene and food safety and environmental awareness.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Supply Management and Food Services Platform to integrate food safety principles into all aspects of business operations.

Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on food safety-related matters.

Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies, as required.

Any other duties as assigned by reporting manager.

Requirements :

· Degree or Diploma in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry and other science related fields

· Experienced professional with at least 2 years of relevant experience

· Operational knowledge and experience in food services or F&B management services preferred.

· Must have working knowledge on Food Safety Management System

· Must have working knowledge on Halal certification application and conditions.

· Knowledge of ISO 22 000 methodology. ISO 22000 related certification is a plus.
