Trading Card Specialist

We are looking for a knowledgeable and responsible Card Grader / Trading Card Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in card grading, understand the trading card market, and be familiar with PSA grading standards and processes.

Job Responsibilities

* Inspect and assess trading cards based on condition, centering, corners, edges, surface, and overall quality

* Identify potential grading issues such as dents, scratches, whitening, print lines, bends, or surface defects

* Understand and explain the card grading process, especially PSA grading requirements and submission procedures

* Assist with sorting, checking, and preparing cards for grading submission

* Provide basic market insights on card values, trends, and demand

* Handle customer enquiries related to card grading, card condition, and market value

* Maintain proper records of cards submitted, graded, returned, or sold

* Support shop operations when required, including sales, inventory handling, and customer service

* Work independently and responsibly with minimal supervision

* Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

* Prior experience in card grading, card assessment, or trading card sales is preferred

* Familiar with PSA card grading standards and submission process

* Good knowledge of the trading card market, including Pokémon, sports cards, and/or other TCG collectibles

* Able to identify card condition issues accurately

* Responsible, detail-oriented, and trustworthy when handling valuable cards

* Able to work independently and manage tasks properly

* Good communication skills when dealing with customers

* Able to work on weekends

* Passionate about trading cards and collectibles

Ideal Candidate

This role is suitable for someone who is already familiar with the trading card industry and has a strong eye for detail. The candidate should be confident in assessing card conditions, understand the grading process, and be responsible when handling high-value cards.

Work details :

Working Days: 5 to 6 days per week

Working Hours: 10.00am to 7.00pm, to be confirmed
