Role Overview

As a Wealth Associate, you will receive comprehensive training and hands-on exposure across various functions within the wealth management business. This program is designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and experience to build a successful career in financial advisory and wealth management, with opportunities to work closely with clients, senior advisors, and management. A key focus will also be on Estate Planning, enabling you to guide clients in safeguarding and distributing their wealth effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training across areas such as Client Advisory, Portfolio Management, Estate Planning, Investment Operations, and Compliance.

• Learn and apply financial planning principles, investment strategies, and company practices that support holistic wealth management.

• Support senior advisors in client servicing, financial analysis, estate planning strategies, and preparation of proposals.

• Assist clients in understanding estate planning tools such as Wills, Trusts, Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA), and legacy planning solutions.

• Set and track personal performance goals in collaboration with managers and mentors.

• Shadow experienced wealth managers to acquire technical knowledge, client engagement skills, and industry insights.

• Contribute to client meetings, workshops, and presentations to enhance advisory competencies.

• Assist in preparing reports, monitoring portfolios, and coordinating with product, investment, and legal teams.

• Stay updated on market trends, investment products, and estate planning regulations.

• Opportunities to participate in regional assignments or training programs may be available.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma qualification (Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centric mindset.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Interest in financial planning, investments, and estate planning.

• Demonstrated leadership potential, analytical ability, and eagerness to learn.

• Positive attitude, adaptability, and strong time management skills.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CMFAS modules, estate planning certification) will be an advantage.
