Job Summary

The Business Development Manager will identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, generate qualified leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients for XPS’s Digital Marketing and AI Solutions portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across Singapore to expand XPS’s client base.
  • Develop and execute targeted account acquisition strategies for SMEs, mid-market, and enterprise customers.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, events, and digital outreach.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to assess client business challenges and growth objectives.
  • Present and position XPS’s digital marketing, AI, and technology solutions to key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Prepare tailored proposals, presentations, and commercial quotations to support sales efforts.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure, achieving set sales targets.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with business owners, marketing leaders, CIOs, CTOs, and senior executives.
  • Maintain regular engagement with prospects and customers to foster trust and satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize client value.
  • Research industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform market development.
  • Gather and report market intelligence and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in networking events, conferences, seminars, and business associations to enhance market presence.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, delivery, consulting, and technical teams to develop client solutions.
  • Support the creation of new service offerings and go-to-market initiatives based on client feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities in CRM systems.
  • Track pipeline performance, forecast revenue, and prepare regular business development reports.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
  • Experience or internship exposure in digital marketing agencies, technology companies, consulting firms, SaaS companies, startups, or IT services organizations.
  • Familiarity with sales, business development, marketing, consulting, customer success, lead generation, or technology solutions.
  • Interest or understanding of Digital Marketing, SEO, Google Ads, Social Media Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Automation, SaaS Platforms, Cloud Technologies, or Software Development.
