Position: Chef
Job Responsibilities
* Prepare soups, broths, sauces, sambal, and seasoning according to established recipes.
* Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and food quality.
* Manage food inventory and ordering of ingredients.
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with Singapore food hygiene standards.
* Train and supervise kitchen assistants and junior cooks.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef or relevant culinary position.
* Strong knowledge of Singapore local cuisine and flavor profiles.
* Experience in preparation of noodle stocks, gravies, and traditional sauces.
* Able to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
* Team player with a positive attitude.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in hawker-style or restaurant operations.
* Knowledge of Singapore local dishes and heritage recipes.
* Ability to develop new recipes while maintaining authentic local flavors.
