Junior Exhibition Manager

Our client is a leading trade fair organizer and they are seeking a Junior Exhibition Manager to lead the growth to support the planning, sales and delivery of international trade exhibitions. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to develop a career in the exhibitions and events industry while gaining exposure to business development, stakeholder management and event operations.
Working closely with senior management, you will assist in driving exhibitor sales, coordinating event logistics, building industry relationships and ensuring the successful execution of trade shows and exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support exhibitor and sponsorship sales activities through market research, lead generation, and client outreach.
- Assist in identifying and securing exhibitors, sponsors, industry associations, and strategic partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with exhibitors, visitors, and key industry stakeholders.
- Coordinate exhibition planning and operational activities, including timelines, floor plans, exhibitor communications, and onsite logistics.
- Assist with exhibitor recruitment campaigns and marketing initiatives.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, venues, and service providers to support smooth event delivery.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare sales reports, exhibitor updates, and post-event analysis.
- Support budget tracking, contract administration, and event documentation.
- Provide onsite event management support before, during, and after exhibitions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, Communications, Hospitality or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in exhibitions, events, sales, marketing, business development or customer-facing roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to travel and provide onsite event support when required.
