LEAD LABOR COMPLIANCE CONSULTANT, ASIA PACIFIC

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will be part of Nike’s Global Labor Compliance team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Labor Compliance APGC. This team operates across a complex, multi-country environment, partnering with Payroll, Global People Solutions, People Solutions Consultants, Business HR, and Employment Legal to drive consistent labor compliance across Asia Pacific.

You bring strong judgment, a pragmatic mindset, and the ability to navigate complexity across countries, cultures, and evolving regulations. You know how to balance risk with business momentum and translate compliance into action.

In a matrixed, fast-moving environment, you stay curious, adapt quickly, and lean into ambiguity. You embrace new ways of working—including technology and AI—to continuously improve how labor compliance is delivered. 6+ years of experience in labor compliance, employment law, HR compliance, employee relations, or related advisory roles

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources, or related field.

Experience advising on Asia Pacific labor law, either through HR or legal practice in at least one jurisdiction

Proven ability to manage stakeholders and influence cross-functional partners in a matrixed, multinational environment

Preferred: Regional or cross-border experience and proficiency in a second language

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will drive labor compliance across Asia Pacific—translating law into action, enabling the business to move forward with confidence while managing risk. You’ll partner cross-functionally, shape processes, and respond to an evolving regulatory landscape with clarity and speed.

Advise HR and business partners on labor compliance topics including wages, working time, leave, terminations, severance, and social security across Asia Pacific

Monitor legislative changes, assess business impact, and guide stakeholders on required actions to stay compliant

Lead labor audit engagements and government interactions—preparing stakeholders, reviewing submissions, and managing risk mitigation

Identify compliance risks and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve, mitigate, or appropriately manage exposure

Collaborate closely with Payroll, Global People Solutions, People Solutions Consultants, Business HR, and Employment Legal to deliver consistent and scalable solutions

Develop and refine guidance, standard operating procedures, and playbooks to ensure consistent regional application

Support regional projects and continuous improvement efforts, including adoption of technology and AI-enabled solutions
