Role Overview

The Manager, Network Development (Hub APAC) is responsible for developing and implementing regional network development strategies to enhance the quality, capability, and coverage of dealer networks across private importers within Hub APAC.

This role partners closely with regional importers and internal stakeholders to support network expansion, dealer standards, retail operations, aftersales readiness, and continuous operational improvement to meet current and future business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Network Development & Expansion

  • Partner with importers across the regions to develop and expand dealer networks in alignment with business growth objectives.

  • Evaluate and support the appointment of new dealers and facility upgrade initiatives.

  • Develop sustainable network strategies to improve dealer coverage, operational capability, and customer experience across Hub APAC.

  • Support regions during new importer appointments to ensure operational and aftersales readiness.

Retail Operations & Dealer Standards

  • Develop and implement dealer operating standards across all regions to improve operational efficiency, governance, and profitability.

  • Ensure awareness, compliance, and continuous improvement of retail operational standards and processes across Hub APAC.

  • Partner with regional stakeholders to implement retail strategy activities aligned with corporate objectives.

  • Oversee and monitor regional Retail KPIs, analyse performance gaps, and develop corrective action plans to improve results.

Training & Capability Development

  • Conduct and coordinate Train-the-Trainer (TtT) programs to enhance the competencies of regional network development specialists.

  • Support importers and dealers in upgrading facilities, amenities, systems, and operational tools.

  • Create regional forums and collaboration platforms for sharing best practices, addressing business challenges, and developing sustainable action plans.

Systems & Process Implementation

  • Introduce, implement, and maintain retail and dealer management systems across regions, including:

    • SSCQ

    • Workshop Planner

    • LDS

  • Collaborate closely with DSIT and relevant stakeholders to ensure successful system deployment and ongoing support.

Audit & Compliance Management

  • Consolidate Qualitative Requirement (QR) audit outcomes and monitor implementation of follow-up actions.

  • Provide regular QR audit progress updates and reports to UDIS Headquarters.

  • Ensure regional compliance with corporate standards, retail operational requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Road Support & Aftersales Coordination

  • Ensure regions successfully implement and support the UD Road Support concept across all importers and retailers, including vehicle branding requirements.

  • Act as the primary liaison with UDIS Headquarters for retail strategy implementation and regional coordination activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Automotive Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Minimum [X] years of experience in automotive network development, dealer operations, retail management, or regional business operations.

  • Strong understanding of dealer network strategy, retail operations, aftersales processes, and operational standards.

  • Experience working with regional markets, importers, or dealer networks within a multinational environment preferred.

  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
