Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, commercially driven, and hands-on General Manager for our Client.

This newly created role is to lead the growth and operational excellence of their expanding convenience retail business across Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, operational efficiency, customer experience, profitability, and strategic expansion while building a high-performance retail culture.

This is a leadership role for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and possesses a proven track record in managing multi-site retail operations, convenience stores, supermarkets, or FMCG retail businesses.

Requirements

- Minimum 10–15 years of progressive retail leadership experience.

- At least 5 years in a senior management role overseeing multi-site retail operations.

- Experience within convenience stores, supermarkets, mini markets, pharmacy chains, FMCG retail, or food retail sectors preferred.

- Proven track record managing large teams and multiple store locations.

- Able to communicate and lead multicultural team.

- Ability to speak English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia.
