Resident Engineer - Civil

Job Description

• To act as Resident Engineer for underground MRT station
• Supervise and coordinate civil and structural works on site in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements
• Keep record of all site activities and prepare daily report
• Monitor progress, quality control and site safety compliance
• Review and verify contractor submissions, method statements and shop drawings
• Conduct regular site inspections and attend site meetings with stakeholders
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and documentation as required
• Ensure all works comply with relevant codes, regulations and environmental requirements
• Manage a team of RTOs
• Work atleast 44 hours per week

Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of IES/ACES as QSS
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as Civil Engineer
• Atleast 2 years of experience in supervising LTA’s civil infrastructure works
• Strong experience in geotechnical works and deep excavation projects
• Familiarity with Singapore construction codes, standards and authority requirements
• Strong coordination, supervision, and site management skills
