Desktop Support Engineer

We are expanding our team and currently have multiple openings available for this position. Successful candidates will be deployed to support enterprise IT operations within a large-scale technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level technical support to end users for hardware, software, operating systems, and workplace technology issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests while meeting established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Perform laptop and desktop deployment, imaging, re-imaging, hardware refreshes, and device configuration activities.
  • Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, printers, mobile devices, and standard enterprise applications.
  • Manage and maintain IT assets, inventory records, and equipment lifecycle activities.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure teams, vendors, and specialist support groups to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate ticket documentation, incident updates, and service records.
  • Create and update knowledge articles, work instructions, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in workplace technology upgrades, device refresh initiatives, and continuous service improvement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security, governance, and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines are preferred. Candidates with strong hands-on desktop support experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in Desktop Support, IT Helpdesk, Service Desk, End User Computing (EUC), or Technical Support environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Outlook, and enterprise workplace technologies.
  • Experience with desktop imaging, hardware support, user administration, and ticketing systems.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with a user-centric mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
