The Role

A global logistics leader is undergoing a major ERP transformation. Are looking for an Enterprise Application Architect to own the architecture and strategic roadmap for our Finance ERP & HCM portfolio.

You will provide technical leadership to drive global ERP transformation, improve data integrity, operational efficiency, and keep our application landscape secure, simplified, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the ERP architecture & roadmap for Finance ERP and HCM – ensuring tight integration with other business systems.

  • Oversee multiple, large-scale, multi-country ERP programs – ensuring architectural consistency, stable delivery, and value realization.

  • Lead buy–build–customize decisions with engineering teams – guiding cloud ERP, PaaS capabilities, and agentic AI adoption.

  • Safeguard reliability, availability & performance of enterprise applications – applying best practices across the application lifecycle and master data management.

  • Engage senior stakeholders and end users – diagnose pain points and translate business needs into scalable solutions.

  • Lead a blended delivery model (in-house, subcontractors, vendor/SI resources) – build capability, performance culture, and manage strategic vendor relationships.

  • Partner with governance teams – ensure compliance with laws, regulations & standards while managing application & database risks.

  • Plan & manage the enterprise application budget – ensure cost effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.

Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable)

  • 10+ years in IT with 5+ years in a leadership role managing enterprise applications.

  • Proven delivery as a key technical leader on large-scale, multi-country ERP programs.

  • Hands-on experience with at least two mainstream ERP or HCM platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Dynamics).

  • Strong Cloud/SaaS exposure.

  • Hands-on experience with agentic AI – vibe coding or harness engineering are advantages.

  • Demonstrated strength in vendor management, cross-functional stakeholder engagement, and architectural governance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Accounting, or Business (Master’s or MBA strongly preferred).

Added Advantages (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Exposure to CRM, Digital Workplace, or other business-critical platforms (e.g., TMS/WMS).

  • Background across both professional services/consulting and in-house environments.

  • Strong project/change delivery capability (Agile, change management) and solid financial acumen.
