We’re looking for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. What You’ll Do
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure comprehensive understanding of project scope and requirements
- Develop accurate cost estimates and conduct detailed cost analyses for various construction projects to support budgeting and financial planning
- Measure quantities and compile precise Bills of Quantities (BQ) to facilitate transparent and effective tender submissions
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain and compare quotations, ensuring competitive pricing and timely procurement for tender packages
- Prepare comprehensive tender packages including pre-qualification documents, clarifications, evaluations, and reports, delivering insightful analysis and recommendations to support decision-making
- Participate in site showrounds to gain practical understanding of project conditions and requirements, enhancing accuracy in cost and quantity assessments
- Apply strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify cost-saving opportunities and manage project budgets effectively
- Demonstrate adaptability and eagerness to learn new skills and technologies relevant to quantity surveying and cost management
Profiles we are looking for:
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent field
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or tendering; fresh graduates with strong potential are encouraged to apply
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Quick learner and willingness in exploring new skill sets/technologies
