WAITRESS SUPERVISOR

1. Guest Service & Dining Experience

  • Welcome guests warmly and provide professional, courteous, and attentive service at all times.
  • Present menus, explain menu items, promotions, and recommendations to guests.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay orders promptly to the kitchen and bar team.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently according to hotel service standards.
  • Ensure guests’ needs and requests are attended to promptly and professionally.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints politely and escalate issues to the Supervisor when necessary.

2. Restaurant Operations

  • Prepare and set up restaurant tables, dining areas, and service stations before operations.
  • Ensure proper table settings, cleanliness, and presentation standards are maintained.
  • Clear tables efficiently and reset for the next guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, pantry, and service stations.
  • Assist in opening and closing duties of the restaurant.

3. Food & Beverage Knowledge

  • Maintain good knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens.
  • Promote daily specials, promotions, and upselling opportunities to guests.
  • Ensure food and beverages are served according to quality and presentation standards.
  • Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service operations.

4. Cashiering & Billing

  • Prepare guest bills accurately and process payments according to hotel procedures.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS system operations responsibly.
  • Ensure billing accuracy and proper recording of transactions.

5. Hygiene, Safety & Compliance

  • Follow food hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards in accordance with hotel policies.
  • Report any safety hazards or operational issues immediately to the Supervisor.

6. Teamwork & Operational Support

  • Work closely with fellow team members and other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support banquet, event, or special function operations when required.
  • Participate in training sessions and continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by Management.
