Senior Marketing Manager

What You Will Do:

Lead the development of the Best-in-Class (BiC) strategic roadmap for core segments

Develop the BiC strategic framework for the Institutional key segments (start with Lodging)

Support the EES BiC global activation strategy

Support T20 / E15 / L10 BiC activation strategy globally in support of regional and market leadership

Actively coordinate regional customer segment activities (customer at the center)

Market Understanding & Strategy

Actively works with teams to have broad understanding of market -- competitive as well as customer insights -- and transferring that knowledge into actionable strategies.

Effectively bring together fact-based market, customers, and internal business insights to clearly identify and prioritize the regional strategies (short- and long-term) to maximize market penetration and profitability.

Portfolio & Innovation

Partner closely with R&D to develop innovation and products based on a thorough understanding of customer needs as part of Phase Gate process.

Lead innovation launches in the region in collaboration with individual Market Marketers

Digital

Adapt and localize digital initiatives that are defined by Global Institutional

Lead and continue building the Center of Excellence for Regional & Global Business

Coordinate core innovation programs

Support market owned implementation and activation

Provide guidance on portfolio management

Coordinate the global Institutional sustainability strategy in partnership with the Enterprise Sustainability team

Sales Execution & Total Value delivery

Strong partnership with selling organization and connects marketing strategies to sales goals.

Partner with Global & AP Marketing and the region sales team to develop and implement a comprehensive communication and promotion plan which communicates our value proposition to the sales teams and customers in a compelling way in the market. These may include marketing collateral, training, conferences, promotions, newsletters, marketing & sales initiatives, digital marketing, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree with at least 10 years of broad marketing experience

    Successful track record of developing multi-channel marketing strategies that support long-term, enterprise-wide goals and objectives.

    Strategic and visionary leader with ability to collaborate and influence all levels of global stakeholders, including Executive Leadership.

    Experience with transformative business and innovation initiatives

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, experienced with Executive presentations

  • Talent Leader; passion for talent development with experience building diverse high performing teams
  • Strong agility and resiliency with ability to effectively work under pressure and meeting deadlines with changing priorities
  • Strong Ecolab business acumen; understanding of customer insights, industry trends and competitive landscape

  • Global knowledge and work experience across various Regions
