Automation Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Automation Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, assembly, programming, installation, and support of industrial automation and machine vision systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform machine assembly, electrical wiring, and system integration.
• Develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, robot, and motion control programs.
• Assist in machine commissioning, setup, and validation.
• Support machine vision system integration and deployment.
• Conduct on-site installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automation equipment.
• Work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and operating procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to customers when required.
• Perform other ad-hoc engineering duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of PLC, HMI, industrial networking, robotics, or machine vision is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in machine wiring, panel assembly, or industrial automation projects is beneficial.
• Willing to travel for on-site installation and support when required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Positive attitude, willing to learn, and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers, suppliers is an advantage.
