Job Summary
Lead and manage a sales team in the steel fabrication industry, driving sales targets and delivering monthly performance reports to management. Utilize industry knowledge and technical sales expertise to achieve business growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a team of sales engineers and site supervisors to achieve sales objectives
- Formulate and implement sales targets for the team aligned with business goals
- Present detailed monthly sales performance reports to management for informed decision-making
- Apply in-depth knowledge of the steel fabrication industry to identify and pursue sales opportunities
- Use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to prepare reports, presentations, and sales documentation
- Demonstrate self-motivation and independence in managing sales activities and team performance
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment through effective interpersonal leadership
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in technical sales within the steel fabrication industry
- Proficiency in English for effective communication
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (moved here as helpful but not essential to core duties)
- Leadership skills to manage and motivate a sales team (moved here as a preferred competency to reflect leadership as a skill rather than a mandate)
