We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Senior Associate Distribution Governance.

In this role you will

Governance & Regulatory Oversight

• Lead end-to-end distribution governance framework, including and not limiting to MAS regulatory reporting, audit coordination, due diligence, remediation, and partner onboarding/offboarding, ensuring full compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Executive Reporting and Decision Support

• Deliver high-impact insights through MIS, financial, and business performance reporting;
• Prepare high-level comprehensive decks, not limiting to detailed minutes-taking, for EXCO, Distributors Partners, Steering Committees, Risk Forums to support strategic decision-making, as well as to maintain continuous risk monitoring under Distribution.

Data Transformation and Automation

• Spearhead MIS transformation initiatives (Qliksense, Datalake), significantly reducing manual processes and enhancing data accuracy, accessibility, and transparency.
• Champion, execute and maintain for all the existing and new reports within the department. Scope includes and not limiting to all the change requests, detailed business requirements, end to end UAT, PROD testing, projects engagement, JIRA/Confluence incident logs.

Stakeholder Leadership

• Partner closely with senior stakeholders across distribution channels to align on business strategy, risk monitoring, and governance priorities in a matrix environment.
• Collaborate closely with 2nd line of defense in delivering compliance and governance DDQs submissions upon receipt of Distributors’ DDQs requests.

Risk, Audit and Control Excellence

• Promote strong risk culture, manage audit engagement and remediation efforts, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to governance standards.

Distribution Excellence and Process Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across KPI/KRI reporting, SOPs, to enhance efficiency and business outcomes.
• Delivering distribution excellence by supporting Channel Heads and BDMs in obtaining and analyzing World Checks, Negative News Screening, ACRA and RDC from time to time.

Key Administrator

• Deliver end-to-end and up-to-date Business Continuous Plan and Business Impact Analysis for the department.
• Key Department Records Administrator - Maintain and review Centralised Records Repository Inventory (CRRI) & Collibra tool for the department.
• Plan, collaborate and schedule EXCOs calendar to facilitate monthly Distribution Risk Forum meeting for the year.

To be successful you will need

• Experience Governance and Oversight within a regulated financial services environment.
• Good understanding of Insurance operational risk concepts, issue management, and control design/effectiveness.
• Ability to interpret policy requirements and translate them into practical guidance and sustainable processes.
• Strong judgement and attention to detail, with the confidence to challenge constructively and escalate appropriately.
• Clear communicator able to produce high-quality documentation, reporting, and stakeholder updates.
