CNC Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the CNC machining department, including scheduling and monitoring productivity.

• Provide technical support to the CNC machining team, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize workflows and implement process improvements.

• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on final products to uphold high standards.

• Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of the CNC machining team.

• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to CNC machining operations.

• Support the planning and execution of preventative maintenance for CNC machines.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a CNC machining lead or supervisory role.

• Strong technical expertise in CNC programming, automation set-up, and operation, with an understanding of machine capabilities and limitations.

• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a track record of quickly resolving issues.

• Experience in leading and motivating teams, focusing on training and development.

• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

• Strong attention to detail, committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
