CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes to execute machining processes according to manufacturing orders and specifications.

• Monitor initial runs, perform inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and blueprints.

• Provide guidance and training to junior machinists, fostering skill development and best practices.

• Engage in continuous programming improvements to enhance CNC machining efficiency and reduce cycle times.

• Conduct monthly maintenance checks on machines, identifying and reporting faults promptly.

• Plan machining activities by analyzing work orders, blueprints, and engineering specifications.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Precision Machining or possess a Higher Nitec/Nitec in Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience in machining metal and plastic products.

• Familiarity with CNC programming is advantageous.
