Senior System Analyst

- Manage conflicts, issues and changes to ensure stakeholders and project team remain in agreement on solution scope, communicate and manage expectations of stakeholders.
- Prepare end user documentation (training manual, user manual, business process flows) on the operation or maintenance of technical systems.
- Assists with the documentation of technical design, specification, and technical solution.
- Maintains document repositories used by project teams and assists with project documentation as needed.
- Ability to perform qualitative, quantitative and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to facilitate discussions/workshops to elicit, manage and prioritise key business needs.
- Investigates problem areas.
- Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
- Have a thorough understanding of computer systems, in order to recognise any hardware limitations that could impact software design.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Knowledge in one of the following areas will be added advantage, Agile Methodology, Business Process Reengineering, Customer Relationship Management, Data Analytics, ERP, Digital and Mobile Technologies, Knowledge Management.
- Knowledge of Singapore Government procurement and governance processes will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of designthinking and workshop facilitation will be an added advantage.
