Trade Flow Analyst (Commodities)

Monitor and analyze vessel movements, cargo flows, and shipping activities using AIS, satellite data, and market intelligence sources.
Track cargo origins, destinations, volumes, and estimated arrival timings to provide actionable market insights.
Identify unusual vessel behavior, route deviations, delays, diversions, congestion, and other events that may impact trade flows.
Collaborate with commercial, operations, and analytical teams to validate information and support decision-making.
Develop and maintain vessel tracking reports, dashboards, and market intelligence updates.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, improve data quality, and enhance visibility of commodity flows.
Support the automation and digitalization of ship-tracking processes through coding and process improvements.
Assist in developing tools and workflows to improve operational efficiency and reporting capabilities.

Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies, Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience within the maritime, shipping, commodity trading, logistics, or energy sectors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
Working knowledge of Python programming.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
