Finance Director – Asset Management / Real Estate
Our client, an asset management firm is looking for a finance director to join their growing team.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial planning across real asset portfolios.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support investment decisions and portfolio optimisation.
- Present performance updates and recommendations to senior management, investment committee, and investors.
- Manage liquidity, cashflow, and banking relationships across funds and investment entities.
- Lead debt financing, refinancing, hedging, and capital structure optimisation.
- Support fundraising, co-investment structuring, and investor due diligence processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely statutory, management, and investor reporting under IFRS/SFRS.
- Oversee audits, tax compliance, regulatory filings, and internal controls.
- Maintain strong governance frameworks across fund and asset structures (SPVs, JVs, holding companies).
- Act as key finance contact for institutional investors, lenders, auditors, and external advisors.
- Prepare Board and investment committee papers, performance reports, and investor presentations.
- Support capital raising and ongoing investor relations activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline; CPA/CA/ACCA/CFA preferred.
- 12–15+ years of finance experience in real assets, real estate, infrastructure, private equity, REITs, or fund management.
- Strong experience in fund accounting, investment finance, and portfolio management support.
- Knowledge of real asset valuation, project finance, and capital structures.
- Proven leadership experience managing finance teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of IFRS/SFRS, tax, and regulatory frameworks.
