Regional Commercial Manager (Travel Retail)

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client in the Travel Retail industry. Due to continued expansion across Asia Pacific, they are looking to appoint an experienced category professional to drive growth within their liquor portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with leading global liquor brands and distributors to drive commercial performance across APAC markets

• Develop and execute regional growth plans across multiple travel retail channels, including airport and duty-free environments

• Identify new market opportunities, emerging brands, and partnership opportunities to strengthen the liquor portfolio

• Lead commercial discussions with suppliers on product listings, promotional plans, investment support, and business terms

• Drive category performance through data analysis, consumer insights, pricing strategies, and commercial initiatives

• Collaborate with country teams to optimise product assortment, inventory levels, and promotional effectiveness

• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and evolving consumer preferences within the wines & spirits category

Requirements

• 8-15+ years of experience within Wines & Spirits, Liquor, Global Travel Retail, Duty Free, or related consumer goods industries

• Proven experience managing regional distributors, key accounts, travel retail operators, or commercial partnerships

• Strong understanding of the APAC travel retail and liquor landscape

• Experience working with premium and luxury spirits brands is highly advantageous

• Commercially driven with strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and business development capabilities

• Comfortable operating in a regional role with exposure to multiple markets and cultures
