Assistant Manager / Sales Engineer (Building Services & Maintenance Solutions)

Responsibilities
Lead, guide and motivate the sales team to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the company's maintenance and service business.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for business expansion.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across commercial, industrial and institutional sectors.
Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, proposal preparation, negotiation and contract closure.
Monitor sales performance, pipeline activities and key business metrics, providing regular updates to management.
Prepare and deliver customized proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
Stay informed on industry trends, market developments and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Engage customers to understand operational requirements and recommend suitable service solutions.
Work closely with technical, operations and support teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Assist in sales forecasting, budgeting and business planning activities.
Support the development of team capabilities through coaching and knowledge sharing.
Represent the organization at industry networking events, exhibitions and business forums.
Conduct periodic reviews of team performance and recommend areas for improvement.
Continuously improve sales processes and customer engagement strategies to enhance operational effectiveness.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
Prior experience in building services, facilities management, maintenance solutions, engineering services, HVAC, ACMV, or related industries will be advantageous.
Proven track record in business development, account management and solution-based selling.
Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship management skills.
Ability to build long-term partnerships with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric mindset.
Self-motivated, results-driven and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience leading or mentoring a sales team will be an advantage.
