Sales Manager

Job Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets by promoting the Company’s forwarding business and acquiring new customers to expand the customer portfolio.
- Identify new and existing business opportunities, build sales pipelines, segment key accounts, develop new business, and strengthen customer relationships.
- Expand existing customer accounts through upselling and cross-selling additional services.
- Proactively engage customers to grow shipment volumes, increase shipment frequency, and expand lane coverage across new trade routes.
- Drive warehouse space utilization by promoting storage solutions and integrated logistics offerings to existing and prospective customers.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, liaising with operations teams and overseas offices to ensure enquiries, issues, and problems are handled professionally and promptly.
- Work closely with overseas agents and share relevant customer and market information.
- Prepare monthly updates on sales pipelines, target customers, achievements, and customer business operations and plans.
- Monitor customer business trends and propose new logistics solutions or optimisation strategies to support their growth.
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers to identify service gaps and unlock new revenue opportunities.
- Participate in sales strategy development and related sales activities.
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly reports on sales pipelines, sales targets, budget achievement, and the review of new opportunities and business plans.
- Monitor customer KPIs and initiatives to ensure the delivery of quality, reliable, and scalable services that meet customer expectations.
- Deliver volume and revenue targets for the forwarding sales channels while maintaining strong customer relationships and profitable growth.
- Lead, guide, and manage Indoor Sales and Sales Support personnel to ensure effective support and strong performance.
- Any other task assigned by the Company
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma Holder in any discipline
- Minimum 6 years’ working experience in freight forwarding sales.
- Possess minimum N2 in Japanese Proficiency
- Excellent Knowledge of INCO terms
- Good working knowledge for MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and communicate well as a team
