Grooming Outlet Supervisor (Cat-Only Studio)

We're looking for a passionate and capable Outlet Supervisor to lead our team at our cat grooming store, which also features a cat interaction space. Key responsibilities

• Run daily outlet operations: lead the team, delegate tasks, and keep things moving smoothly through busy periods
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment and uphold sanitisation and hygiene protocols at all times
• Perform and supervise cat grooming, managing a volume of up to 30 cats per day
• Handle difficult or anxious cats with patience and confidence
• Train and develop staff, and support team morale and wellbeing
• Manage interpersonal dynamics fairly and handle difficult situations with a level head
• Engage warmly with customers and build strong client relationships
• Handle the POS system, stock, and basic admin tasks
• Recommend the right services and retail products to grow outlet revenue
• Maintain sound knowledge of grooming products and services offered

About you

• 3-4 years of professional cat grooming experience, with a grooming certification
• 1-2 years of team leadership or supervisory experience, with a proven track record
• Physically and mentally able to handle a high-volume grooming day (up to 30 cats)
• Genuine love for cats and strong knowledge of feline behaviour and needs
• Familiar with sanitisation and hygiene protocols in a grooming or pet care setting
• A fair, unbiased leader who manages staff situations with maturity and consistency, regardless of personal relationships
• Emotionally resilient; handles team tensions calmly and professionally
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; great with both cats and people
• Organised, detail-oriented, and takes pride in a clean, well-run space
• Comfortable with basic computer use and POS systems
