SUPERVISOR AND GENERAL FOREMAN (M&E)

Job Summary

Lead and manage the M&E department team to drive construction process improvements, coordinate with project teams and authorities, supervise site works ensuring safety compliance, and oversee contract administration and defect liability period activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, facilitate, and manage the M&E department team to achieve project objectives and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with project teams to implement initiatives that improve construction work processes
• Liaise with authorities on incentives and productivity matters under Senior Manager guidance to ensure compliance and optimize benefits
• Prepare and submit proposals to authorities to support project approvals and compliance
• Develop progress reports to communicate project status and milestones to stakeholders
• Prepare and submit Requests for Information (RFI) and Field Change Requests (FCR) to address project clarifications and modifications
• Review, prepare, and submit shop drawings and material documentation to ensure design and material compliance
• Manage contract administration and documentation to maintain project records and support contractual obligations
• Conduct cost estimation and budgetary calculations for electrical services to support project financial planning
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations and ensure timely procurement of materials and services
• Supervise overall site works related to M&E services, ensuring adherence to safety requirements and quality standards
• Coordinate with relevant parties to review and verify drawings for accuracy and compliance
• Attend site meetings with owners, consultants, and main contractors to coordinate project operations and resolve issues
• Oversee defect liability period (DLP) activities for architectural and MEP works for 18 months, ensuring timely resolution of defects
• Perform on-site troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical and operational issues promptly
